Picnic on the Beach
Just because we’re moving into the chillier days of fall doesn’t mean we can’t take a trip to the beach. Whether it’s enjoying the sun or sitting under the stars, this is one of those dates that just doesn’t get old. Pack a blanket (maybe an extra one to cuddle up in at night), some easy to eat food like a homemade charcuterie board, a bottle of wine, and get ready to relax and reconnect.
Farmer’s Market
Farmer’s markets can be a great date day! Walk around the local vendors during the day and put together your date night from there. Grab some bath salts for a spa night or some food for that beach picnic. For first dates, seeing all the unique items is a great way to keep the conversation flowing.
Paint Night
Get creative and go to one of the Paint Night’s offered around town (like at Paint Nite). Or grab some supplies from your local art store and either paint whatever comes to mind, or watch Bob Ross at home!
Cooking Class
Book a class at Sur la Table, day and night options available, and enhance your skills in the kitchen. On a budget? Do it yourself at home. There are plenty of TV shows and youtube channels with an array of skill levels.
Stand-Up Paddleboarding
Get active! Enjoy the sun and San Diego weather by stand-up paddleboarding. Getting some exercise has the added bonus of releasing endorphins! These trigger a positive feelings, helping insure your date is great.
