Date Time!

Many couples need time after the counseling session to process and talk about what they learned. I recommend making a date each time after the therapy session. Go out for either a latte, lunch or dinner at any of the restaurants in Mission Valley before or after the therapy session. Use this time to debrief from the session, give time to the relationship, and enjoy San Diego’s great food. Here you will find a list of restaurants you can review. Mission Valley Restaurants

Reflect During a Hike

Counseling may bring up new concepts to life or “Aha” moments that you may want to absorb and reflect on. Take a hike through Mission Trails or Cowles Mountain to continue self growth and enjoying the nature. Or sit at the beach and journal your thoughts. This allows you to process the information, absorb what you learned, and to apply it to life. San Diego has many soothing places that will help keep you positive and allows self reflection. Finish Errands

Sometimes accomplishing task and finishing errands helps people feel productive and positive. The counseling office not only is central in Mission Valley, but it is near to all shops and stores in San Diego. Easy to access with all freeways and allows you to feel accomplished. Either go shopping at Mission Valley Mall, grocery shop, or send a package at the post office. Mission Valley Shopping Center.
