# BeingLOVEDIs Charity Event Success!

beinglovedis charity event

Here was an event I had to give back to the community!

On Friday, January 18th I asked the San Diego community to come together at 1202 nightclub in Hillcrest to help me support Christie's Place. I could not be more grateful, because the event was a huge success! We raised over $2,000 for a great charity, and so many people came out to help pull it all together.

“# BeingLOVEDIs raising money for the community.”

My favorite San Diego photographer, Sean Capshaw (owner of Resolusean), took pictures in the # BeingLOVEDIs Photo Booth. We got so many great shots and creative responses!

On top of our photo booth, the event had circus performers throughout the night, including trapeze, silks, Spanish web, contortionists, fire eaters, and stilt walkers. Club 1202 decorated the place with various circus props and SDPix brought clown noses for donators! Another great hit was the relationship therapist/tarot card readings that had a long line the entire night.    People also enjoyed the raffle tickets too!

I am so blessed to be surrounded by such a wonderful community! Thank you to everyone who came out to support this event, from performers to people who stopped by to donate their money and time. You helped make the event a tremendous success, and show Christie’s Place that they have the support of the community. I hope to see even more people at my next event!

Thank you to 1202 nightclub for hosting the BeingLOVEDIs charity event, and thank you SDGLN.com for making this happen!  And thank San Diego for your support in my event and being a part in my # BeingLOVEDIs project!!!
